5 Steps to Prepare for a Post COVID-19 Return

Businesses are slowly beginning to reopen throughout the United States – you might be on the East Coast or the West Coast, but changes are being made whether you’re for or against it. Although we can’t change the necessity to open businesses back up and get back to reality, we can prepare ourselves to stay safe. Here are some of the best ways to remain safe and vigilant around COVID:

Wear Your Mask When Going Out Into Public

For anyone’s return, whether you’re entering the workforce as an employee, boss, or just trying to live life normally again, don’t forget your mask! Although we are quick to want to go back to normal and save ourselves the uncomfortableness of a mask around our mouth, keep in mind, you are risking everyone’s health by choosing not to wear one. Most businesses or health-related offices are giving masks and hand sanitizer away for free. You can even create or sew your own to make it unique and authentic to you! Head back to normal life safely and in style!

Read Up on Your County’s Restrictions

Some counties and cities are making masks mandatory to even enter a business, make sure you read and educate yourself before heading outdoors for the day. You might have to be more prepared than normal depending on certain restaurant restrictions and regulations. Some places of businesses are only letting in a certain amount of people in at a time and holding up the six feet rule. If this is the case in your county, try to call ahead or make a reservation/appointment before you head out the door.

Carry Hand Sanitizer On Your Person

Just like wearing a face mask, the other essential item is hand sanitizer! Don’t forget to bring wipes and sanitizer to help you combat any unwanted germs from touching public surfaces. It’s important to remain diligent with your hygiene and using sanitizers is the best way to protect your hands!

PRO TIP: Spray sanitizer is actually more effective than gel. 🙂

Hydrate and Take Vitamin C Pills

Even if you’re not feeling sick, remember to drink water and take (or drink) Vitamin C. Hydrating can keep your immune system in check. Sometimes we can feel sick just from not drinking enough water or getting enough sleep. Make sure to drink at least eight cups of water a day and getting 7 to 8 hours a sleep a night to keep your body healthy. If you want to be optimum healthy, start drinking Vitamin C in the morning or taking a pill for healthy vitamins!

Smile (through your mask)

It can be hard to understand people’s reactions and emotions when they have a mask over their face, but you can still smile with your eyes! Don’t forget to give your community a smile through your mask because we are all in this together and we’re all doing the best we can.

With this said, keep your mask on, don’t forget your hand sanitizer and try to keep smiling! We’re in this together and join our community on our website right now for more support and help during hard times. Click here to get involved with Caterina’s Club today.
